A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, ADOPTING THE EAGLE
URBAN RENEWAL REDEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT SUB PROJECT
"HEART OF EAGLE BEAUTIFICATION PLAN ", AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Eagle Urban Renewal Agency, an independent agency operating pursuant
to Idaho Code Title 50, Chapter 20, desires City Council acceptance of the Heart of Eagle
Beautification Plan Redevelopment and Improvement Sub Project;
WHEREAS, public notice for a public hearing for the adoption of this sub project has been
published in the Valley Times; and
WHEREAS, the site plan showing the Heart of Eagle Beautification Plan Redevelopment
and Improvement Sub Project is attached hereto as Exhibit "A "; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Eagle support the Eagle Urban
Renewal Agency's efforts to remove blight and facilitate public parking within the
Downtown Urban Renewal Area.
WHEREAS, the Sub Project is located in a deteriorated or deteriorating area as previously
found by the City Council in Resolution 07 -03 and the City Council continues to support
that determination.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO:
Section 1: The Heart of Eagle Beautification Plan Redevelopment and Improvement Sub
Project, dated May 12, 2015, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit "A" hereto and the
original of which is on file at the office of the City Clerk, is hereby approved and adopted.
Section 2: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption
and approval.
Section 3: The provisions of this resolution are hereby declared to be severable and if any
provision of this act or the application of such provision to any person or circumstance is
declared invalid for any reason, such declaration shall not affect the validity of remaining
portions of this resolution.
