A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, ESTABLISHING A FEE SCHEDULE
FOR LIBRARY MEETING ROOM RENTAL FEES AND COMPUTER USE PASS FEE,
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Eagle Library Board has recommended rental fees be established for the
use of meeting rooms; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City to be compensated for meeting room maintenance
when rooms are being utilized for non-library or city activities; and
WHEREAS, a public notice for a public hearing for such fees has been published in The
Valley Times as required by Idaho Code §63-1311A; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO as follows:
Section 1: That the City of Eagle hereby establishes a Fee Schedule (see Exhibit A) for
library meeting room rental fees and computer use passes.
Section 2: That this resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
adoption and approval.
ADOPTED by the Eagle City Council, Eagle, Idaho, this I day of March, 2015.

Fee schedule for computer use passes and Eagle Public Library meeting room rental rates: .
Computer Use Pass
$1.00 computer use pass for non-LYNX! Consortium Libraries card holders. This fee
entitles the purchaser to two 90-minute public computer sessions on the day of purchase.
Meeting Rooms rental rates
Fees are based on the category of the entity renting the meeting rooms: Renter,Not-for-
Profit, or Partner.
Renter
Renters are LYNX! Consortium Libraries cardholders age 18 or older. Most groups and
individuals fall into this category including all commercial ventures.
Not-for-Profit
Groups are considered Not-for-Profit when their mission serves an educational, cultural,
charitable, political or civic purpose. Not-for-profits include 501(c)3, 501(c)4, 501(c)5,
501(c)6, 501(c)7, 501(c)8 corporations, as well as unincorporated associations, groups, or
clubs. Commercial venture of any kind are excluded from this classification.
Partner
Partners closely match the mission of the Library, serve the City of Eagle in a similar way to
the library, or assist the Library in carrying out its own mission. This category includes the
Friends of the Eagle Public Library and governmental bodies that are located within the City.
Rental Rates
All fees are non-refundable.
Rooms may be reserved in one hour blocks (minimum rental is two hours).

In accordance with Idaho State Code 63-1311A, legal notice is hereby given that the EAGLE CITY COUNCIL
will hold a public hearing on March 10, 2015, at 6:30 P.M. at Eagle City Hall, 660 E. Civic Lane, Eagle, Idaho
to consider adopting a fee schedule for computer use pass and for library meeting room rental rates. The
proposed fees are as follows:
Computer Use Pass
$1.00 computer use pass for non -LYNX! Consortium Libraries card holders. This fee entitles the purchaser to
two 90 -minute public computer sessions on the day of purchase.
Meeting Rooms rental rates
