In order to complete this project, even with matched funds, it would be necessary to establish a LID. The project includes landscaping, sidewalks, curb and gutter & street lighting. The total LID would be $40,000. based on lineal feet of commercial property, for a total of 2,432 ft. of improvements at a cost of $14.59 per ft. Public Testimony: written: Jerry Hetrick, Tri-City Meats (opposed) to cost per foot per property, Sheri Sharp, (opposed) cannot support the LID because of removal of storm drains, cost of landscaping, sidewalk and curb work should extend further.
