RECEIVED & FILED CITY OF EAGLE 1223 Lake Point. Eagle New rendition design 8-27-09 Ness LLC bid by Doug Ness File: huutk tk. OCT 0 6 2009 9-17-C9 1. Stone and stucco will demo the stone due to the fact that the stone originally was put on with mesh in stead of wire lathe. Demo the left pier post and above the front entry were roof line and arch will change, demo the lights on the existing entry pillars. There will be new smaller size of lights put in the two pillars on either side of the planter and remove the existing light on the garage. The pillar on the left when it is demo'd will leave a gap to be filled in the front step but can be repaired and then when the front driveway is stained it not be able to see it. Stucco in space left by gable and opening above the roof line. Insta11 3 ft. high 4in. block planter between the columns covered with cultured stone and match cap and re -bar to secure the planter sealed and drainage in planter. 2. With the change in scope we should not have to protect the plants and windows as discussed but will build an OSB frame covering the front entry to protect front door. The day the roof is removed we will tarp it and everyday there after till decking it on. Roofing (demo and protect) Remove the existing front entry roof and tarp it. Entry rebuild we will hand stack the 2 by 8 rafters to extend the roof line from the being wall on the left side of the front entry and it will extend to the front slope roof of the covered patio between the garage and the front entry using the bearing member walls on each side (left and right of the existing front entry) to support the hand stacked rafters. The left side soffit rake will be lowered to enable the peak of the front entry to line up with the front door. Frame in the cricket on the left This will lower the existing front the new arched stone work to accommodate the alignment (as discussed). Wall framed so stucco will be installed to the top above the cricket top left entry. We will re -frame the ceiling above the front entry to a trapezoid shape. The depth will depend on the actual final frame for centering the front entry. All dimensional lumber. decking. framing, roofing materials, fascia, trim and flashing. Insta11 3 knee braces on the gable on the second floor above the entry. As per drawings. Finish cedar or nine surface in ceiling above front entry and natio not included TBD. 3. The electrical wires for the light on the left pillar will be terminated and we will add a wire extension from the light on the right front entry pillar electric circuit to go to the light on the pillar next to the garage so they will turn on the same circuit. (Access through old patio soffit). We will remove 1 of the 3 can lights on the soffit of the patio. There will be a new light hung in the recessed front entry. Owner choose and buv lights 4. Diamond chain saw cut, 2 crawlspace vents openings in the foundation and install functional vents 5. Gutters and drainage (3rd parry's) There will be a rain diverter on the roof so water will be moved towards the house to 1 of 2 10/6/09 7:19 AM Lake Point Scope 10-3-09.doc http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik=8b191701ca&view=att... catch the valley, as the rake of the roof on the new front will be lower than the fascia of the patio to the right side. Gutter to be added on the upper left of the roof above and to the front of the front entry to dump that water on to the new framed roof so it will not hit the front entry. Add a gutter along the front of the patio with the downspout chain centered on the right pillar. (Will the chain interfere with the light to be mounted there? to be determined. Salvage existing gutter and downspout 6. Terminate the 3 vents in the front and re -level old vent recesses. Grind and slope to the drain to the front from the garage door entry where water stood. Cut square section where the chain will come down and re -cement it; install a receptacle drain for the chain and a drain that will collect water and water from the planter. 7.
