AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, AMENDING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION
ORDINANCE NO. 722 FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2014 TO REFLECT
THE RECEIPT OF UNSCHEDULED REVENUES, INCREASING AND ESTABLISHING THE
APPROPRIATIONS FOR EXPENDITURES IN THE GENERAL FUND, PROVIDING THAT THE
TAX LEVY UPON TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF EAGLE IS NOT AFFECTED
HEREBY PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH ARE REPEALED
TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT, AND PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE SHALL
BE EFFECTIVE UPON ITS PUBLICATION DATE.
Section 1: That the sum of$300,000.00 be, and the same is appropriated to defray the
necessary expenses and liabilities of the General Fund of the City of Eagle, Ada County, Idaho
for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2014, thereby amending Ordinance No. 722.
Section 2: Purposes and Amounts of Appropriation. That the objects and purposes for which
such appropriations are made, and the amounts of such appropriations are as follows after
accounting for receipt of unscheduled revenues:
GENERAL FUND PROPOSED EXPENDITURES:
Surface Pro3 Tablet -Council $1,258.96
Data Infrastructure Upgrade $46,000.00
Recreation Activity Guide - Park/Rec $11,000.00
Greenbelt Paving - Park/Rec $19,000.00
Building Department Software $10,000.00
Caselle Software -Accounts Receivable $10,000.00
Reserve Fund- Park/Rec Proposed Projects $100,500.00
Reserve Fund - Future Activities including: purchase a van, $102,241.04
celebration/marathon for opening Greenbelt, Comp Plan
review, and new location for Sheriff's Department
TOTAL PROPOSED EXPENDITURE FOR FY 14/15 $300,000.00
GENERAL FUND PROPOSED REVENUES/FUNDING RESOURCES
INCREASE IN CARRY FORWARD FUNDS $300,000.00
TOTAL PROPOSED REVENUES FOR FY 14/15: $300,000.00
Section 3: Tax Levy unaffected. That the tax levy established for the City of Eagle for the
Fiscal Year beginning October 1, 2014, shall be unaffected by this ordinance.
Section 4: Amendment of Conflicting Ordinances. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance are hereby amended to the extent of such conflict to conform to
the appropriations made by this ordinance.
Section 5: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon its passage, approval
and publication in The Valley Times, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Eagle,
and the official newspaper of said City.
