SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
September 17, 2020
1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Pierce calls the meeting to order at 3:05 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: Present: BAUN, GOLD, PITTMAN, PIKE. All present. A quorum
is present.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
4. PUBLIC COMMENT 1: The Eagle City Council is taking remote public comment via Webex.

want to watch the meeting, without giving comment, please watch our Iivestream at
https://www.citvofeagle.org/305/Citv-Agendas-Videos.
This time is reserved for the public to address their elected officials regarding concerns or comments
they would like to provide to the City Council regarding subjects not on the agenda. At times, the City
Council may seek comments/opinions regarding specific City matters during this allotted time. This is
not the time slot to give formal testimony on a public hearing matter, land use application, or comment
on a pending application or proposal. Out of courtesy for all who wish to speak, the City Council
requests each speaker limit their comments to three (3) minutes.

5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
A. Work Session ZOA-02-20 — Zoning Ordinance Amendment (Ordinance 8271
— City of Eagle: A work session for the City Council to discuss Ordinance 827. This item
was continued from the August 20, 2020 meeting.
Mayor Pierce introduces the item.
Zoning Administrator Vaughan reviews the changes that were requested at the last meeting.
General discussion. Staff will re -notice this for a hearing so the public has the opportunity
to speak to the changes that have been requested as a result of this discussion.
Al . ACTION ITEM: Ordinance 827: An ordinance of the City of Eagle, Ada County
Idaho, amending Title 8 "Zoning", Chapters 1, 2 & Article 2A, 3, 4, 6, 7, 10, and amending
Title 9 "Land Subdivisions", Chapters 2, 4; providing a severability clause; and providing
an effective date. This item was continued from the August 20, 2020 meeting.
No action.
6. NEW BUSINESS:
A. ACTION ITEM: Parks and Recreation Sponsorships: Parks and Recreation
Director is presenting to council and seeking approval of the 2021 Parks and Recreation
Sponsorship Packet, Sponsorship Policy, and Request for Sponsorship (RFS). (BNJ)
Mayor Pierce introduces the item.
Parks and Recreation Director, Brandon "Beeg" Johnson reviews the sponsorship packet.
Discussion for clarification.
Baun moves to approve the Parks and Recreation Sponsorship as presented.
Seconded by Pittman. ALL AYE...MOTION CARRIES.
