AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, REPEALING
SECTION 1-11-3 OF THE EAGLE CITY CODE RELATING TO INTERNAL
COMMUNICATIONS POLICY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Eagle is a municipal corporation organized and operating under
the laws of the State of Idaho; and
WHEREAS, the City adopted Ordinance No. 290 on March 11, 1997, codified as Eagle
City Code §1-11-3, establishing a policy for communications within and by the City; and
WEHREAS, the City Council has determined that its internal communications policy is
more appropriately addressed through a resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to repeal its internal communications policy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, Ada County, Idaho:
Section 1: Section 1-11-3 of the Eagle City Code is hereby repealed in its entirety.
Section 2: This Ordinance, or a summary thereof in compliance with Idaho Code §50-
901A, shall be published once in the official newspaper of the City, and shall take effect
immediately upon its passage, approval and publication.
Adopted by the Eagle City Council, Eagle, Idaho, on this /5/ day of January, 2015.
