A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, ESTABLISHING A FEE SCHEDULE
FOR COMMUNITY EVENTS HELD ON MUNCIPALLY OWNED OR LEASED
PROPERTY, AND DEFINE EXTRAORDINARY RESOURCES AND REFUND POLICY
FOR THE SAME, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHERAS, it is the desire of the City to coordinate with local law enforcement, fire
department, Central District Health, Ada County Highway District and other entities that may be
impacted by community events, to protect public health and safety; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desire to establish a fee to assist in offsetting the cost
associated with community events, these costs include, but are not limited to: staff time and,
facility maintenance costs; and
WHEREAS, public notice for a public hearing for such fees has been published in The
Valley Times as required by Idaho Code §63-1311A; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO as follows:
Section 1: That the City of Eagle hereby establishes a Community Event Fee Schedule
(see Exhibit A)
Section 2: That this resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
adoption and approval.

Medium community event is an estimated amount of attendees of 101-999.
Large community event is an estimated amount of attendees of 1000+.
EXTRAORDINARY RESOURCES AGREEMENT & REFUND POLICY
Special event applicants, promoters and sponsors whose special events require the use of
extraordinary City resources as a result of their anticipated attendance or heightened security
concerns shall be required to pay for those extraordinary resources, as determined by the City's
Parks and Recreation Department. Full cost recovery for extraordinary resources shall be
required no later than sixty (60) days following the conclusion of the special event. Any
extraordinary resources for which there are additional costs shall be solely dedicated to the
special event. If payment is not received within that sixty (60) days the outstanding fees will be
addressed in accordance to Eagle City Code.
The City of Eagle's refund policy is as followed. Any event cancelled ten (10) business days
prior to the event will receive a full refund. Any event cancelled within ten (10) business days or
less will receive a 50% refund.

will hold a public hearing on December 16, 2014, at 6:30 P.M. at Eagle City Hall , 660 E. Civic Lane, Eagle,
