Minutes - 2020 - Design Review - 08/13/2020 - RegularDESIGN REVIEW BOARD MINUTES The Design Review Board met in regular session August 13, 2020, Chairman Brasher presiding. 1. CALL TO ORDER: Brasher calls the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL: The following members were present: BRASHER, SAYER - PRESENT VIA WEB -EX: BAER, GERMANO. ABSENT: GRUBB, KOCI, DUPERAULT. A quorum is present. 3. CONSENT AGENDA: • Consent Agenda items are considered to be routine and are acted on with one motion. There will be no separate discussion on these items unless a Design Review Board member, City Staff, or a citizen requests an item to be removed from the Consent Agenda for discussion. Items removed from the Consent Agenda will be placed on the Regular Agenda in a sequence determined by the Rules of Order. • Any item on the Consent Agenda that contains written recommendations from the City of Eagle shall be adopted as part of the Design Review's Consent Agenda approval motion unless specifically stated otherwise. ACTION ITEM: DR-22-20 — Multi -tenant Flex Space Building — D&N Investments, LLC: D&N Investments, LLC, represented by Dave Buich, is requesting design review approval for a 14,000-square foot, eight -unit, multi -tenant flex space building. The 0.60-acre site is located on the south side of East Dunyon Street approximately 660-feet west of the intersection of South Parkinson Street and East Dunyon Street at 2177 East Dunyon Street. (ERG) Dave Buich, 1168 S Renovare Lane, Eagle, Id reviews the application. City planner Gero reviews the application. Applicant did receive the staff report, however did not review it. Brasher moves to continue DR-22-20 — Multi -tenant Flex Space Building — D&N Investments, LLC. Seconded by Sayer. ALL AYE...MOTION CARRIES. B. ACTION ITEM: DR-37-20 — Master Sign Plan for a Multi -tenant Flex Space Building — D&N Investments, LLC: D&N Investments, LLC, represented by Dave Buich, is requesting design review approval for a master sign plan for a multi -tenant flex space building. The 0.60-acre site is located on the south side of East Dunyon Street approximately 660-feet west of the intersection of South Parkinson Street and East Dunyon Street at 2177 East Dunyon Street. DR-48-05 MOD — Building Addition to a Government Office Building for Eagle City Hall — City of Eagle: The City of Eagle, represented by Christine Aikens with BRS Architects, is requesting design review approval to construct a 10,603-square foot addition to the existing government office building for Eagle City Hall. The 1.23-acre site is located on the north side of East Civic Lane between the US Post Office and Eagle Public Library, approximately 250-feet north of East State Street at 660 East Civic Lane (Lots 6 and 7, Block 1, of Aquila Subdivision). (BAW) Member Baer recuses herself from this application. Christine Aiken, 1010 S Allante, Boise reviews the application. City planner B. Williams reviews the application. Brasher moves to approve DR-48-05 MOD — Building Addition to a Government Office Building for Eagle City Hall with the site specific and standard conditions of approval as written with the following modifications: Site specific condition #2: At the end of the last sentence, add the words or other property owned by the city. Comment: The majority of the Design Review Board recommends the applicant consider alternative building layouts that place the community areas towards the parking at the north end of the existing building. Any modifications to the drawings would of course need to be resubmitted to the Design Review Board. Seconded by Sayer. ALL AYE...MOTION CARRIES. Cl.
