June 23, 2014
1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Reynolds calls the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: MCFARLAND, BUTLER, KUNZ, RIDGEWAY. All present. A
quorum is present.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Mayor Reynolds leads the Pledge of Allegiance.
4. STATUS UPDATE ON ITEMS DISCUSSED AT PREVIOUS TOWN HALL
MEETING
Marketing/Communication Specialist Gordon, I am recording this as I have a new camera
and need to check out the microphone. After the last Town Hall meeting we had a
meeting on how communications were done in the City. I have a quick presentation that
will show you where to find the information. This presentation will be posted on-line.
Discusses the City website, where to find City information and contact information.
Zoning Administrator Vaughan provides updates on code enforcement items. Provides an
update on the trash enclosure at Rembrandts and discusses the motor home at the
Gathering Place. We have talked to the owner and he has moved the motor home to an
existing approved parking space; we will continue working with owner. I have met with
the property owner that is operating an automotive repair facility in a residential area and
will be following up with him. Discusses non-profit companies' trash enclosures and
recycling bins. General discussion
5. TOWN HALL MEETING:
The Eagle City Council is pleased to invite all Eagle residents to attend the town hall
meeting. The Mayor and City Council welcome your input and look forward to
answering any questions that you may have.

We wish this to be an open discussion inspired by the interests of all of the
people of our wonderful community. Stop by to visit with your elected
officials.
Out of courtesy for all who wish to speak, the City Council requests each speaker
limit their presentation to three (3) minutes. If time permits, and after all attendees
who wish to address the City Council have done so, the City Council may invite
rebuttals or engage in additional discussions with the attendees.
It is the wish of the City Council that each speaker be treated with the utmost respect,
courtesy and afforded the right to speak without interruption. The intent of our town

hall meeting is to create a friendly community spirited forum where by the Eagle
community may express their views openly and freely.
May we suggest this is a gathering of neighbors openly speaking with neighbors, and
we hope everyone will feel welcome to participate.
Discussion on the roundabout, the businesses that are going to be put out of business;
what happened that made the City Council changed their minds; and further discussion on
the businesses that are going to be put out of business including Bodacious Pig, Tate's'
Rents, Jackson's lot, and the barber shop.
Continued general discussion on the roundabout.
Discussion on the bike paths at Laguna Point, the other city bike paths, the greenbelt and
trails and the maintenance of the same.
Discussion on the recycling containers that have been removed and the suggested code
changes for the City so the bins can be put back in.
Continued discussion on the roundabout and ACHD's plans for the roads in Eagle.
Discussion on the City Budget.
Discussion on the Highway 16 Bridge.
Continued discussion on the roundabout.
Discussion on the gravel pit by Guerber Park.
Continued discussion on the roundabout.
Several audience comments about being civil to each other and to the Council; that
personal attacks on the council aro not to be tolerated.
6. ADJOURNMENT:
Mayor adjourns the meeting.
Hearing no further business, the Council meeting adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
