MAY 24, 1988
The Eagle City council met in regular session on May 24, 1988, at
7:30 p.m. Mayor GUERBER presiding.
Roll call showed the following members present: MINOW, HAMMONS,
WALKER. Absent: MATLOCK.
Moved by HAMMONS and seconded by WALKER to approve the minutes of
the May 10, 1988 meeting. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
Moved by MINOW and seconded by WALKER to amend Ordinance #138,
ordinance to prohibit the parking of abandoned vehicles,
presented by the city attorney. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.

Moved by MINOW and seconded by WALKER to dispense with the three
day rule and to consider Ordinance #138 immediately. ALL AYE:
MOTION CARRIED.
Moved by WALKER and seconded by MINOW to adopt Ordinance #138 as
presented. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
Moved by MINOW and seconded by HAMMONS to add the liability
insurance needed for a year to be able to provide for the Summer
Recreation Program, to approve the needed insurance with a rider.
ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED.
BAIRD CAR WASH/DESIGN REVIEW: Speaking in favor of the project
was Hal Baird. Moved by WALKER and seconded by MINOW to accept
the application for a car wash next to Go-Fer Station with the
conditions set forth by the Design Review Committee. Those
conditions are: to show the location of the proposed block trash
enclosure, to apply for a separate Design Review Application
regarding a sign and to comply with the design, including
landscaping and irrigation, as proposed. ALL AYE: MOTION
CARRIED.
