COUNCIL MINLFIES
JUNE 22, 1982
The council met in regular session on Tuesday, June 22, 1982.
Mayor Jerry Deckard presiding.
Roll call showed the following members present:
DECKER, HALEY, STOPP~I.TO.
Fbved by HALEY and secc~ded by E~EER to approve the minutes of
May 25, 1982 after the correction of two typographical errors.
Motion resulted as follows: YEAS: UECKER, HALEY, STOPPer.TO.
Motion carried.
A letter is to be sent to Smitty's Auto P~pair on State and Idaho
stating the Eagle City Council is in the process of reviewing his conditional
use application to operate a tune-up shop in that location. Mr. Smith will
be given 30 days to correct the probl~ns that would result in the revocation
of his conditional use permit. Councilman WALKER arrived.
The attorney was asked to investigate incorporatic~ of %-ccd control
into t_he subdivision ordinance, and also to ask the fire depa~h~ent to be
aware of the hazardous condition of the weeds growing on vacant lots.
A petition was received from 14 concerned residents asking the city
to fence the canal on StielT~an Way. Mayor Deckard will visit with the
~ County Highway District and the ditch company concerning this request.

Moved by HALEY and seconded by WALKER t_hat the claims against the
city for the month of May be paid.
Motion resulted as follows: YEAS: DECKER, HALEY, WALKER, STOPP~.TO.
Motion carried.
Mayor Deckard gave a report on the AIC Conference in Coeur d' Alene
which he, Stoppello and Mendiola attended.
A discussion was held on the signs in front of the Eagle Hotel stating
they were not in conformance with the Design P~view Ordinance.
A discussion was held on setting target dates for completion of the
comprehensive plan.
There being no further business to come before the council, the meeting
was adjourned.
