May 11, 1982
The council met in r~gular session on Tuesday, May 11, 1982.
Mayor Jerry Deckard presiding.
Roll call showed the following msmbers present:
E~CKER, HALEY, STOPP~.TO, WALKER.
Moved by E~CEER and seconded by HALEY that the minutes of
April 27, 1982 be approved as printed.
Motion resulted as follows: YEAS: DECKER, HALEY, STOPP~TIO,
WALKER.
Mayor Deckard welcomed Boy Scout Troop 199 to the council meeting.
Proposed Resolution 4-82 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A EESIGN REVI~
APPLICATION ~'~, AND ESTABLISHING A PROCEDURE FOR THE POSTING OF A
PERFOrmANCE BOND BY DESIGN REVIEW APPLICANTS AND PBOVTDING AN ~'~'~CTIVE
DATE was introduced to the council and will be placed on the agenda
the next meeting as an action it~.
Mary McMurtrie, Eagle, Idaho asked the council to sanction a s~,,'~'~r
recreation program to be held at the elementary school.
Moved by HALEY and seconded by STOPPk~.TO to give approval to the
Eagle Su~er Recreation Program providing the city is given a hold
harmless note by the insurance company
Motion resulted as follows: YEAS: DEC~ER, HALEY, STOPPRLTO,
WALKER.
Motion carried.

The coumcil asked Mayor Deckard to write a letter to owners of
vacant lots in Eagle asking th~n control the weed pzoble~ in those lots.
Councilman WALKER pointed out to t_he council that to hav~ an
amusem~_nt center in a c~,~rcial district a conditional use application
would have to be sut~tted.
Mayor Deckard introduced I'k)rm Rusk and asked for the co~cil's
confirmation of him to the Planning and Zoning Cu~L,,.~ssion. This
it~n will be delayed for t~o weeks.
Moved by DECKER and seconded by WALKER to approve the claims
against the city for the month of April.
Motion resulted as follows: YEAS: IECEER, HALEY, STOPP~LTO,
WALKER. Motion carried.
Moved by EECKER and seconded by WALKER to ask for unanimous consent
to place the video gam~ center and Marcus, Marcus, DeShazo rezone on
2nd Street on the agenda for discussion purposes only.
Boll call on the motion resulbed as follows: YEAS: DECKER, HALEY,
STOPPk~.IO, WALKER. Motion carried.
Moved by DECKER and seconded by STOpPer.lo that the council go into
executive session to discuss a personnel matter.
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: YEAS: DECKER, HALEY,
STOPP~.TO, B~J~KER. Motion carried.

The executive session was gone into at 9:05 P. M. and adjourned at
9:55 P. M. and during executive session the issue was discussed of the
city clerk providing check lists to applicants for their various endeavors
within the city for instance conditional use permits, rezones, business
licences, etc. and also the hours of the operation of the city hall.
Meeting was adjourned at 10:08 P. M.
There being no further business to come before the council, the
meeting was adjourned.
