The regular meeting of the Eagle City Council was called to order by Mayor
Deckard on January 26, 1982 at 7:30 P. M. at the Eagle City Hall.
M~nbers present: DECKER, HALEY, STOPP~.IO, WALKER.
Mmved by HALEY and seconded by DECKER that the minutes of the previous
meeting of January 12, 1982 be approved as written.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, HALEY, STOPP~.IO, ~ALKER.

A work shop will be held to discuss how the Eagle City Council came to
endorse the Eagle by-pass and the v~rious ramifications of the endorsement.
Moved by DECKER and seconded by STOPP~.~O to hold a public information
meeting on Tuesday, February 23, 1982 at 7:30 P. M. at Eagle Primary
School on North Eagle Poad in conjunction with the regular scheduled
meeting of the Eagle City Council, specifically for the purpose of having
the consultant of the IdahD Transportation Depart~ant and Idaho Transportation
Department officials explain the recent results and findings of the 1-84
Interchange study and its impact on the City of Eagle and the surrounding
area.

Mayor EECKER presented the council with the names of Winifred Chaney,
Ida L. Smithson, Bessie Marshall and Harry Vogt for their consideration
and confirmation to the Eagle Planning and Zoning Cormlission.
Moved by STOPP~.TO and seconded by DECKER that until we have a chance to
review all of the terms and the inpact area implications and add
people to serve on the planning and zoning that we table the appointr~e~ts
of these citizens until the ~ that we can consider full appointments
of twelve members.
Motion resulted as follow~: AYE: DECKER, STOPP~/IO, ~IALKER. NAY: HALEY.
Motion carried.
The Eagle L{hrary board of Trustees discussed expanding library services
with the council.
Mayor DECKARD appointed S%OPPF3.~O and HALEY to a OU~LS[.~ttee to establish
guidelines on what is e~pected from a city attorney. STOPPRLTO will
chair the co~ttee.
The council recessed for 10 seconds.
Moved by STOPPk~.TO and seconded by ~EC~ER t_hat Ada County Zoning Transmittal
81-1-LU be trasmitted to the Eagle Planning and Zoning Con~ission for
their recom~endatio~ and that the city council decide at that time.
Moved by UECKER and seconded by SROPPk~IO that we return Ada County
Zoning Transmitfm] 81-1-LU to the county with a ~dation that
it be denied because they asked for our comments to be received by
December 29, 1981 end we didn't receive the transmittal until January
13, 1982.
