Jerry Deckard Council: Floyd Decker Carol Haley Orval Krasen LeRoy Pearman September 22, 1981 The regular meeting of the Eagle City Council was called to order on September 22, 1981 at 7:30 P. M. by Mayor Deckard at the Eagle City Hall. Members present: DECKER, HALEY, KRASEN. PEARMAN was excused. Moved by HALEY and seconded by DECKER that the minutes of the previous meeting of September 8, 1981 be approved as printed. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, HALEY, KRASEN. Motion carried. A request was received from Farmers and Merchants Bank to extend their Conditional Use Permit for a term of one year for mobile banking facility located at 498 E. State Street, Eagle. Moved by KRASEN and seconded by HALEY to extend the Conditional Use Permit for 6 months for the Farmers and Merchants State Bank. Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, HALEY, KRASEN. Motion carried. A lengthy discussion was held on a letter received from the Design Review Board and a decision was made to meet with the Design Review Committee at their regularly scheduled meeting on October 20, 1981 at 7:30 P. M. Moved by HALEY and seconded by DECKER to make the following appointments and compensation of election judges and clerks according to 50-409. Judge - Carma Herrick, Clerk - Winnie Chaney, Clerk - Joy Brady and the compensation $35.00 After discussion with Councilman KRASEN, HALEY withdrew the motion and DECKER withdrew the second. Moved by KRASEN and seconded by HALEY to authorize the mayor and city clerk to sign this municipal audit letter of understanding with Messuri, Bates & Gibbons for the municipal audit. Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, HALEY, KRASEN. Motion carried. September 22, 1981 Page 2 Moved by KRASEN and seconded by HALEY to authorize the mayor and city clerk to sign a memorandum of agreement between City of Eagle and Marjorie Ruth Moon, State Treasurer, to invest any idle funds of the City of Eagle. Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, HALEY, KRASEN. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the council, the meeting was adjourned. f/City Clerk ~
