BOX 477 EAGLE, IDAHO 83616 208-939-6813 Mayor: Jerry Dackard Council: Floyd Decker Carol Haley Orval Krasen LeRoy Pearman 3une 9, 1981 The regular meeting of the Eagle City Council was called to order by Mayor Deckard on June 9, 1981 at 7:30 P. M. at the Eagle City Hall. MEMBERS PRESENT: DECKER, KRASEN, PEARMAN. HALEY was excused. Moved by DECKER and seconded by PEARMAN that the minutes of the previous meeting of May 26, 1981 be approved as printed. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, KRASEN, PEARMAN. Motion carried. Mayor Deckard read Ordinance No. 71 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS AND TERRITORY, SITUATE IN ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, AND ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF EAGLE CITY, ESTABLISHING AND DETERMINING THE LAND USE CLASSIFICATION OF SAID LANDS AS M-iA; PROVIDING THAT COPIES OF THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE FILED WITH THE ADA COUNTY AUDITOR, THE ADA COUNTY TREASURER, THE ADA COUNTY ASSESSOR, AND THE IDAHO STATE TAX COMMISSION, AS REQUIRED BY LAW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Moved by DECKER and seconded by PEARMAN that Ordinance No. 71 be adopted. Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, PEARMJkN. NAY: KRASEN. Motion carried. The subcommittee that interviewed consultants to draft a comprehensive plan recommended to the council that all applicants interviewed be rejected because it was felt the expense was too great. They also recommended that Phil Hanson's proposal be reconsidered which would involve updating elements and amending the present comprehensive plan rather than a complete rewrite. Moved by PEARMAN and seconded by DECKER to accept the com~ittee recommendation and turn down all proposals. A substitute motion was offered by DECKER and seconded by PEARMAN to table action on this item until the full council was present to vote. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, KRASEN, PEARMAN. Motion carried. Moved by DECKER and seconded by PEARMAN to pay the claims against the city for the month of May. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, KRASEN, PEARMAN. Motion carried.
