The regular meeting of the Eagle City Council was called to order by
Mayor Deckard at 7:30 P. M. on April 28, 1981 at the Eagle City
Hall.
Members present: DECKER, HALEY, KRASEN PEARMAN.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by PEARMAN to approve the minutes of
the previous meeting of April 14, 1981 with the following corrections:
page 2, paragraph 2, line 3 - ~s~sms paragraphs.
Page 2, paragraph 7, line 1 - eem~er concur.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, HALEY, KRASEN, PEARMAN.
MOtion carried.
Mayor Deckard announced that this was the time and the place for a public
hearing on an application submitted by Gary Drown to amend the
Future Acquisitions Map to delete the frontage road between Stierman
and Palmetto.
Mr. Drown made a presentation to the council on his application.
There being no public testimony from the audience the hearing
was declared closed.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by HALEY for conditional approval of
the request to amend the Future Acquisitions Map to delete the requirement
for a frontage road between Stierman and Palmetto, the condition being
that the developer provide within a time period of one year proof of
contract with a grocer occupant and contracts for at least two more
occupants in the shopping center. If due cause is shown, the council
may approve an extension of the time frame condition. The Resolution
adopting this change to the Future Acquisitions Map will be acted
upon by the Council as soon as the conditions stipulated above are met.
Further, the requirements for limiting access to 1500 feet between points
to arterial streets, as directed in Eagle City Ordinance No. 40, Zoning
Ordinance, page 4, does not apply in this instance.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by PEARMAN to amend the motion by changing
one year to read two years.
Motion on the amendment resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, HALE¥, KRASEN,
PEARMAN. Motion carried.
Roll call on the original motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, HALEY,
KRASEN, PEARMAN. MDtion carried.
Dave Reynolds, United Cablevision, reported to the council on cable tv
in the Eagle area.

to amend the zoning ordinance to include an additional zoning district
of M-I A which would provide that development occur under the P.U.D.
Process.

There being no further testimony to come before the council, the hearing
was declared closed.
Moved by DE~ER and seconded by PEARMAN to approve the zoning ordinance
amendment.
Moved by DECKER and seconded by PEARMAN to withdraw the motion.
Moved by DECKER and seconded by PEARMAN to direct the city attorney
to draft an ordinance to amend the Eagle Zoning Ordinance #40 to
provide for a new zone of M-I A as generally outlined in the application.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, ~L~, K~SEN, P~RMAN. Motion
carried.
There being no further business to co the council, the meeting
was adjourned.
