The regular meeting of the Eagle city Council was held
July 12, 1971 at 7:30PM in the Eagle City Fire Station.
Members present were Mayor Otis A. Young and Councilmen
Elmer Bacus, Le Roy Pearman and Roy Cullen.
There were no reports read.
A bill was presented by the
Mayor for the printing of the beer licenses in the amount of
$8.94.
Roy Cullen moved the the bill be accepted and LeRoy
Pearman seconded the motion.
Motion passed.
After some discussion the council voted to adopt the
Meridian City Building code. (Motion by Elmer Bacus and second
by LeRoy Pearman.)
The ordinance will be printed in the next
editon of the Valley-News=Times under the emergency measure for
ing
codify ordinances.
The Mayor reported he had had no word on the Eagle City
Official Census from the cenaus bureau as yet.
Councilman Bacus stated that he would prepare a study
of other related city budgets by percentage to be used in
preparation of the Eagle City budget.

Mr. LaMar Walker presented to the council plans for the
bulding of a 3ì acre subdivision located adjacent to the City
of Eagle.
Plans will be approved upon the submittal of legal
description and maps.

Mr. Louis Lessley made application for a license for
liquor by the drink.
The Mayor stated that approval will
be contingent upon the fall ballot.
The August meeting will be changed to Monday Aug. 2 at
7:30PM. Meeting adjorned. .' I
