A special meeting of the Eagle City Council was called
January 24th at 7:30 PM.
Present were Mayor Marvin Adams
and Councilmen Young, Taylor, Pearman and Bacus.
The mayor opened the meeting by reading the agreement

between Walker and the City on annexation of his property.
The mayor then read the annexation ordinance to be voted
upon.

(motion Young and sec. Pearman), that the ordinance be
accepted under the clause of suspension of rules.

carried.
A letter concerning the deannexation of the Cowman
property was discussed.
The council decided to table
the matter for further legal advice.
A motion was passed (motion Elmer Bacus sec. O. Young)
to purchase insurance for the City of Eagle, at a
premium up to $75.00, for $100,000, for one year.

A motion passed (motion Young Sec. Pearman) that
Elmer Bacus be appointed Prestdent of the Council.
A motion was passed to appoint Shirley Beautrow as
city clerk for the year 1972.
Meeting adjorned at 9 PM.
