The regular meeting of the Eagle city Council
met January 10th at 7:30P~ at the Eagle Library.
Those present were Acting Mayor Otis Young and Council-
men Bacus, Adams and Pearman and eullen.
Guests were
Ralph ~unter and Clarence Planting, Ada County Recorder.
The December minutes were read and approved.
Under old business there was some discussion on
Dr. Wilder, Eagle Veteranarian building corrals at
his place of business for holding of stock.
The council
determined this action to be in violation of the zoning
plans set.LUp for Eagle, as well as sanitation.
The
council voted to contact Dr. Wilder to further discuss
his action.
At this time the new mayor and councilmen were duly
sworn in by the city clerk.
The new city officials are:
Mayor - J. Marvin Adams and Councilmen;
Bill Taylor,
LeRoy Pearman, Otis Youn~ and Elmer Bacus.
At his time
Mr. Planting presented the state Certificate of In-
corporation to the new mayor.
Under new business Mayor Adams assigned the coun-
cilmen the following committee assignments:
Otis Young - Finance
Elmer Bacus - Zoning and Planning
LeRoy Pearman - New Business and General
Appearance
Bill Taylor - Building Inspection
!1arvin Adams - Sewer & Drainage
The council voted that 10~ of each building permit
fee be set aside to be paid to the building inspector, Bill
Taylor.

The council discussed the possibilities of using
house numbers for Eagle city residents.
A motion
(Young, Bacus) was passed to authorize the Planning
and Zoning Committee to prepare a street numbering
plan, to be submitted to the council for study.
The Mayor asked for discussion in regard to a
city operated community water system.
It was decided
by the council that further study was needed.
Elmer Bacus stated that at the Dec. 20th Zoning
meeting, two recommendations be made to the council.
The first: to zone as commercial 150 feet of each side

recommendation is:
to accept the Ada County'Zoning map,
to be used for the zfoning of the city of Eagle, subject
to modification.
The council voted to accept the two
recommendations in their entire~y.
~otion was passed to pay Modern Printers in the
amount of $3.00.
