The regular meeting of the City of Eagle was held November 13, 1973 at 7:30 P.
The minutes were read and approved and a balance of $7,297.91 was reported
in the treasurery with no mutstanding bills to account for.
The clerk reported to the board that Clarence Planting from the Ada County
Highway Department reported that they would pay 50% of our costs in obtaining
a new census. Elmer Bacus made a motion that the census be taken and it
was seconded by Otis Young. The vote was unanimous.
Nayor Adams reported that Dan Nc Columb called to say that after the November
traffic count th~ Eagle still does not qualify for a stop light on the corner
of Highway 44 and Eagle Road.
The sheriff*s office requested the City of Eagle to budget $1200 for the
year of 1974 to contribute to the Sheriff*s Office to maintain an additional
dispatcher. Otis Young made a motion that we do not budget for this and
LeRoy Pearman seconded the motion.
The Ada Council of Governments has requested the small cities to make a
program design for 1974. The following objectives were reported submitted
by the Eagle Planning and Zoning.
Land use and comprehensive planning map.
Water quality and management
Transportation
Flood Plain
Open Space
Sewage
The council accepted these with an emphasis to be placed on sewer, drainage,
and zoning.
The council authorized the clerk to meet with Attorney Fitzgerald and ask
him to write a letter to Nr. Rose of Esco stating he is T~olat~ng his
agreement with the City in not limiting his trailer park to Adults Only.
An Interim Appropriation Ordinance was given to each councilman for his
consideration before passage at the January 1974 meeting.
Nr Pete Sheverick an associate of Summerfield and Andy Anderson called to
state that they were contemplating purchase of the Davis Property of a little
more than 2 acres. It was stated that there is no known easement for
right-of-way to this property.
There being no further business to come before the council the meeting
was adjourned.
