BOX 477 · EAGLE, IDAHO 83616 September 10. 1974 The regular meeting of the City of Eagle was held September 10, 1974 at 7:30 P. ~. John Smidt made a motion to approve the · ~hdte~ as>written. LeRoy Pearman seconded the motion. John Smidt made a motion to accept the August Treasurer's Report and grant the city clerk authority to invest $5000.00 in a timed certificate for a period of three months. LeRoy' Pearman seconded the motion. John Smidt made a motion to authorize Attorney Cosho to proceed with an application for participation in the national flood insurance program and nominated the Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission to co-ordinate the plan. LeRoy Pearman seconded the motion. Sla~.,yo~ Adams reported that the sewer board is unwilling to pay the City of Eagle $25.00 rent per month. This matter was tabled until the decision was made as to where the City Office would be located. Elmer Bacus made a motion to send house numbers to all utilities and place notices in the paper, and three conspicuous places in Eagle that individuals may come to the City Hall to get their house number. LeRoy Pearman seconded the motion. Emily DeShazo made a motion to instruct the city clerk to write a letter to Mr. Orlando instructing him to go before the Planning and Zoning Commission to apply for a building permit and zoning certificate. Elmer Bacus seconded the motion. LeRoy Pearman made a motion that any land use change in Eagle must first go before the Planning and Zoning Commission. Land Use to include a change in business or any construction outside an authorized subdivision. John Smidt seconded the motion. Mr. Cosho was given authority to bring a nuisance suit wi~ a permanent injunction against Mr. Beers. Elmer Bacus made a motion to charge $2.00 for a set of maps and zoning ordinances. John Smidt seconded the motion. The City Council viewed the library and proposed city accomodations. Elmer Bacus made a motion to have John Smidt submit final plans and expenditures at the October meeting. LeRoy Pearman seconded the motion. Attest~ Mayor
