March 26, 1974
A special meeting of the Eagle City Council was held March 26,
1974 at the City Hall. The Mayor called the meeting to order
at 7:30 P. M. LeRoy Pearman was absent. The minutes were
approved as read.
Mr. Goul and Mr. Briggs presented the final plat of the
Eagle West Townhouse. The only change from the preliminary
was that the name be changed to Eagle Glen. John Smidt
made a motion to accept the final plat as presented. Irene
Gunderson seconded the motion. Elmer Bacus mpposed. The
city clerk and mayor signed the plat for recording.
John Smidt made a motion to dispense with the rules,~h~cause
no; o~e was present at the meeting, and adopt as ordinance
the budget for 1974. Elmer Bacus seconded the motion. A
roll call was taken and the vote was mnanimous. The city
clerk was directed to send the final copy in ordinance
form to the newspaper for publishing.
Elmer Bacus made a motion to accept the zoning map as
presented by the Planning a~ Zoning Commission. John Smidt
seconded the motion. Irene Gunderson voted against. Motion
carried 2-1/
Mayor Adams was employed to obtain a legal description by
metes and bounds of the property on the zoning map. The
zoning ordinance was read and corrections noted to be sent
back to the planning and zoning commission to be rewritten.
John Smidt made a motion to accept the Master Plan as an
ordinance to be incorporated with the zoning ordinance and
map. Elmer Bacus seconded the motion.
There being no further business to come before the council
the meeting was adjourned.
