The regular meeting of the City of Eagle was held March 12, 1974
at 7:30 P. M. The minutes were read and approved.
Elmer Bacus was absent.
John Smidt made a motion to accept the short form of
two petitions drafts presented by Helen Miller, State
Librarian. 25 copies of this petition will be made and
circulated by the council members to obtain 110 signatures
to disolve the present boundarys and set up new ones
according to Eagle City Limits. LeRoy Pearman seconded
the motion.
LeRoy Pearman made a motion to postpone the vote on
the zoning map until all councilman were present. Irene
Gunderson seconded the motion. John Smidt voted against,
and the vote carried 2 - 1.
John Smidt made a motion to adopt the preliminary budget
for 1974 and proceed with the legal publications and
notification of a public hearing to be held March 26,
1974 at 7:30 at the City Hall. LeRoy Pearman seconded
the motion.
Johu Smidt made a motion to dispense with the rules and
adopt Ordinance #15 relating to penalty, licenses and
application. Roll Call was taken and the following votes
were submitted: John Smidt aye, Irene Gunderson aye,
LeRoy Pearman aye.LeRoy Pearman seconded the motion.
LeRoy Pearman made a motion instructing the City Attorney
to write an ordinance for a Zoning Certificate. John Smldt
seconded the motion.
A special meeting will be held March 26, 1974.
There being no further business to come before the council
the meeting was adjourned.
