September 2, 1975
The regular meeting of the Eagle City Council was called
to order at 7:30 P. N., September 2, 1975 by Mayor Adams.
The minutes of July 9, 1975 and the special meeting of
July 22, 1975 were approved as written.
The council requested that Vern Schoen, Building Inspector,
attend the next meeting for the discussion of the Eagle
Glen Townhouse permits. Doc House made a motion that
any further discussion be tabled until the next meeting.
Elmer Bacus seconded the motion. Emily DeShazo voted
against.
Le Roy Pearman made a motion that we table discussion on
X Rated Movies until the next meeting when we could obtain
a ruling from the attorney. Doc House seconded the motion.
Elmer Bacus made a motion to allow Ed Rochnowski a conditional
use permit for the purpose of conducting a welding business
in a R-5 Zone. Doc House seconded the motion.
Elmer Bacus made a motion that the city accept the proposal
from Ceta to hire a librarian at a starting salary of
$450.00 per month. Applications are to be reviewed by
the Library Board. LeRoy Pearman seconded the motion.
Elmer Bacus~,made a motion to grant a rezone to Clarence
Suiter changing the R-5 Zone to Commercial on the
property immediately in front of the Eagle Glen Townhouse.
Doc House seconded the motion.
Mayor Adams, with the approval of the council, appointed
Pricilla White and Donna Abbott to the library board.
There being no further business to come before the council,
the meeting was adjourned.
