Minutes - 1975 - City Council - 07/09/1975 - RegularCITY OF EAGLE P.O. BOX 477 · EAGLE, IDAHO 83616 July 9, 1975 Thre regular meeting of the Eagle City Council was called to order at 7:30 P. M., July 9, 1975 by Mayor Adams. Doc House made a motion that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as printed. LeRoy Pearman seconded the motion. Ed Rochnowski's application to build a 24 by 30 foot shop on his property purchased from Bergeson was approved. He asked for a conditional use permit to carry on a retail business, and was told he would have to appear before the planning and zoning commission. Elmer Bacus made a motion to hold a public hearing on the Mitchell re-zone application on August 6, 1975. Emily DeShazo seconded the motion. Doc House abstained from voting because of conflict of interest. Mr. Friend presented maps and metes and bounds des- cription of his survey of the City Limits of Eagle. LeRoy Pearman made a motion that Friend proceed with 2~'' - 30" setting w brass caps in 24 concreted pipe eliminating the river area until property owners can be consulted. Elmer Bacus seconded the motion. Emily DeShazo made a motion to pay Mr. Friend $2600 equivalent to approximately 80% of the total bill. LeRoy Pearman seconded the motion. LeRoy Pearman made a motion to contact the Idaho Power Company and proceed with installation of 14 desginated street lights within the city limits of Eagle. Emily DeShazo seconded the mo~ion. LeRoy Pearman made a motion that the Mayor's salary be raised to $150o00 per month and the council each to $25.00 per month effective January 1, 1976. Elmer Bacus seconded the motion. Elmer Bacus made a motion to give Mr. Krassen authority to install garbage cans at the park and employ garbage service there, also proceed with necessary clean-up. Doc House seconded the motion. BOX 4.77 · EAGLE, IDAHO 83616 Emily DeShazo was appointed to commission a sign to be painted for the park reading "No ~ehicles on Grass ~rea" on a budget of $20.00 Elmer Bacus made a motion that we encourage the planning and zoning commission to return their work in a more ex- pedient manner.
