The regular meeting of the Eagle City Council was held
February 5, 1975. The meeting was called to order at 7:30
P. N. by Nayor Adams. John Smidt was absent.
Elmer Bacus made a motion that the minutes be approved as
written. LeRoy Pearman seconded the motion.
Nr. and Mrs. Doc' House made a presentation to the council
of property that was available to the City of Eagle. This
property includes Lots 7,8,9',and 10, Block 5 of the
Carpenter 3rd Addition. Each lot is 50' wide and 140'
deep for a total area of 200' wideth and 140' depth.
They would agree to sell this property for a total of
$5000.00 to the City, with one stipulation: If the
property is not used as a city complex, and instead sold,
the House's would get the first option to purchase said
property back at the original purchase price. Elmer Bacus
made a motion to table further discussion until the council
has had an opportunity to look at the property and all
members were present for a vote. LeRoy Pearman seconded
the motion.
LeRoy Pearman made a motion to instruct the mayor to
contact Nrs. Stewart who owns lots 11 and 12 adjacent to
the House Property to see if the City could have a possible
future option on her property. Elmer Bacus seconded the
motion.
LeRoy Pearman made a motion to accept the treasurer's
report for December and January. Emily DeShazo seconded
the motion.
A letter is to be sent to the Ada Council of Governments
request&dg help with the following items in 1975.
1. Sewage
2. Government Funding Assistance
3. Comprehensive Plan
4. Transportation Plan
5. Ordinances and Amendments
6. Naps - Zoning, Land Use & Transportation
The motion to send this letter was made by Emily DeShazo
and seconded by Elmer Bacus.
Elmer Bacus made a motion to accept the architects drawings
of the city office and to proceed with the project with
expenses not to exceed $15~o.00. LeRoy Pearman seconded
the motion.

Elmer Bacus made a motion that we dispense with the rules
and adopt Ordinance #22 creating a Parks and Recreation
Commission. LeRoy Pearman seconded the motion. The following
roll call was taken: Pearman, aye; DeShazo, aye; Bacus,
aye.
March 26th was set as the date for the public hearing on
the 1975 budget.
The clerk was instructed to draw up an ordinance revizing
the setback requirements in C-Ae and Ce Zones to eliminate
the 25' rear yard set-back.
There being no further business to come before the council
the meeting was adjourned.
