The regular meeting of the Eagle City Councilwas called to
order byMayor Deckard at 7:30 P. M. November 9, 1976.
The minutes of the meeting of October 11, 1976 were approved
as printed.
Ordinance ~30 was read for the second time.
Ordinance ~31 was read for the second time.
Ord/nance #32 was read for the first t/me. Fred Lowe made a
motion to suspend the rules and adopt Ordinance ~32. Brad Herrick
seconded the motion. A roll call vote was taken andthis ordinance
was enacted at the city council meeting of November 9, 1976.
Ordinance #33 was read for the first time.
Fred Lowemade a motion that a public hearing date be set for
November 30, 1976 for the EagleEast and Eagle West annexation. Ted
Arnold seconded the motion. The hearing will be at 7:30 P. M.
at the City Hall.
Ted Arnold made a motion on behalf of the library board
that Mrs. Maurice Heston be appointed to the library board replacing
Mrs. Eunice Anderson who has resigned. Mrs. Anderson's term will
expire August, 1981. Also, to recc~n~end that Mrs. Isla ~nAuley be
appointed to the library board replacing Mrs. Rowena Parks who has
also resigned. Mrs. Parks term expires August, 1979. Fred Lowe
seconded the motion.
LeRoy Pearman made a motion that the mayor's report
concerning city needs in Idaho: 1977-1981 for the City of Eagle
be submitted to the Association of Idaho Cities. Brad Herrick
seconded the motion.
Brad Herrick made a motion that Phase #1 of Eagle Village
Subdivision be approved as rec~m~nded by the Eagle Planning &
Zoning C~mdssion. Ted Arnold seconded the motion.
LeRoy Pearman made a motion that a 2% collection fee be
charged on all sewer fees collected by the City of Eagle. A contract
will be drawn up between the City of Eagle and the Eagle Sewer and
Water District. Brad Herrick seconded the motion. Fred Lowe
abstained.
There being no further busing to ccme before the council,
