Minutes - 1977 - City Council - 12/13/1977 - Regular CITY OF EAGLE P.O. BOX 477 · EAGLE, IDAHO 83616 December 13, 1977 The regular meeting of the Eagle City Council was called to order by Mayor Deckard at 7:30 P. M. on December 13, 1977. Brad Herrick was absent. The minutes of the previous meeting of November 9, corrected to read Fred Lowe rather than Ted Lowe. were approved as corrected. 1977 were The minutes Ted Arnold moved a public hearing be advertised and held on December 30, 1977 at city hall at 8:00 P. M. on extension of the existing moratorium. LeRoy Pearman seconded the motion. LeRoy Pearman moved the attorney be instructed to draft a letter to August Hein, Superintendent of the Meridian School District, concerning the purchasing of property and construction of a school in Eagle. Fred Lowe seconded the motion. LeRoy Pearman moved to table discussion of Eagle Village Subdivision #2 until the next meeting. Fred Lowe seconded the motion. A letter from Kenneth Marema concerning a change in a short plat application as Eagle Village Addition was referred back to the Planning and Zoning Commission. LeRoy Pearman moved that Resolution 1-77 be adopted. Ted Arnold seconded the motion. The resolution is incorporated into the council minutes. LeRoy Pearman moved that the city council draft a resolution to send all ordinances to the attorney before the 1st reading. Ted Arnold seconded the motion. Ted Arnold moved that the city council table discussion of Ordinance ~35 until the comprehensive plan has been accepted by the city council. Fred Lowe seconded the motion. BOX 477 · EAGLE, IDAHO 83616 December 13, 1977 A special meeting of the Eagle City Council was called to order at 9:00 A. M. by Mayor Deckard on December 13, 1977. Brad Herrick was absent. Ted Arnold moved the mayor and city clerk be instructed to sign the new contracts with the Idaho Transportation Department of the Division of Highway since the amount is the same as the previous contract and the only change is from a private contractor to the Ada County Highway District. Fred Lowe seconded the motion. ' LeRoy Pearman moved that a public hearing be advertised and held on December 30, 1977 at 7:30 P. M. for the following area of impact: Land bounded by Homer Road on the north, and its extension: Linder Road on the west; Highway 20 on the south, and its extension to the east; and Highway 55 on the east extended to Highway 20 extension on the south. Fred Lowe seconded the motion. Ted Arnold voted nay. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the council, the meeting was adjourned. Attest:
