The regular meeting of the Eagle City Council was called to
order at 7:30 P. M. on Tuesday, September 13, 1977 by Mayor Deckard.
The minutes of the previous meetings of August 9, 16 and 25th
were approved as written.
Fred Lowe moved that the mayor and city clerk be instructed to
sign a contract with the highway department for installation of a
stop light at the corner of Highway 44 and Highway 69. Ted Arnold
seconded the motion.
LeRoy Pearman moved that the city of Eagle sign a contract with
Certified Public Accountants Jackson Missouri and Bates to audit the
9 month budget period of 1977.~ Ted Arnold seconded the motion.
Brad Herrick moved that Glenda Willes be appointed as deputy
registrat for the coming election and the polling place be city hall.
Ted Arnold seconded the motion.
Ordinance #37 received its second reading.
A council decision was made to place both liquor by the drink
and packaged liquor on a ballot
There being no further business to come before the council,
the meeting was adjourned.
