The regular meeting of the Eagle City Council was called to
order by Council President LeRoy Pearman on August 9, 1977
at 7:30 P. M.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as written.
Fred Lowe moved to adopt the Am~ended Articles of Agreement
of the Ada Planning Association. Ted Arnold seconded the
motion.
LeRoy Pearman moved that a hearing date of September 13, 1977
be set for a Rezone Request submitted by Mr. Garrett. Ted
Arnold seconded the motion.
Ordinance #37 received its first reading.
Phil Oberrecht, representing Warren Van Deusen, requested the
council write a letter to the State Highway Department stating
that Mr. Van Deusen's property could be rezoned to commercial.
Fred Lowe moved the council not answer this request with a letter.
Brad Herrick seconded the motion.
Fred Lowe moved that a special meeting be held August 16, 1977
to discuss the Haskin Rezone request to put a bowling alley
just outside the city limits. LeRoy Pearman seconded the
motion.
LeRoy Pearman moved that a letter be sent from the city to Royce
Fifer requesting him to clean up his property. Ted Arnold
seconded the motion.
Erv Olin, A. P. A. Transportatiqn, presented the council with
a transportation study plan. LeRoy Pearman moved that the City
of Eagle support a county wide transportation plan. Brad Herrick
seconded the motion.
LeRoy Pearman moved that the ceiling placed on the park shelter
be extended to $700.00. Brad Herrick seconded the motion.
Brad Herrick moved that a special meeting be held August 23rd,
1977 for a budget hearing. Fred Lowe seconded the motion.
Brad Herrick moved that the bills for August,
Fred Lowe seconded the motion.
1977, be paid.
