PROPOSED ZONING ORDINANCE
The purpose of this public hearing was for the proposed
zoning ordinance as written, and if adopted, will repeal the
existing 1974 ordinance.
The mayor declared the hearing open for anyone to speak
concerning this proposed ordinance.
Art Collins, from Ada Planning Association, stated that since
Eagle wants to have its ordinance apply in the impact area,
and since area impact negotiations aren't final yet, he feels
that the county will want to have its imput on the ordinance,
therefore, he suggested that we delay adoption of the ordinance
until the county adds it's imput.
Mayor Deckard informed him that the ordinance was written
specifically for the city limits of Eagle , although, it will
apply to impact area, with minor changes, if needed. He
would like an agreeable blend of this ordinance and the county
ordinance.
Mayor Deckard declared the hearing closed.
POLLARD moved that the zoning ordinance for Eagle, Idaho
published October 1978 be adopted as written. ARNOLD seconded
the motion. Ordinance ~40 will be in effect upon publication.
PEARMAN moved to amend the motion by adding Ordinance #40
repeal Ordinance 910. POLLARD seconded the motion. Motion
resulted as follows: AYE: ARNOLD, PEARMAN, POLLARD.
Motion carried.
