A special meeting of the Eagle City Council was called to
order on September 18, 1979 at 7:30 P. M. by Mayor Deckard.
The purpose of the meeting was to hold a public hearing
to hear a request for annexation by: Verlan Mace, Marie
Main, Leonard Mace and Fidelity Holding for properties
located South South/West of the City of Eagle.
Mayor Deckard announced that this was the time and the place
for a public hearing.
There being no public testimony the hearing was declared
closed.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by PEARMAN that annexation
ordinances concerning the properties of Verlan Mace, Marie
Main, Leonard Mace and Fidelity Holding Company be prepared
for first reading at the next regularly scheduled council
meeting and that these properties be zoned as follows:
Verlan Ma~'8 property be zoned agricultural, Marie Main's
property be zoned agricultural, Leonard Mace's property
be zoned agricultural, and Fidelity Holding Company's
property be zoned as follows: The West 260 acres be zoned
M-l, Light Manufacturing District, providing the applicant
agrees in writing to submit conditional use requests for
construction of an industrial technological park, and the
east 255 acres to be zoned R-5, Residential 5 dwelling units
per acre, providing the applicant agrees in writing to submit
conditional use requests for construction of a planned unit
development.
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: ARNOLD,
KRASEN, PEARMAN, STURR. Motion carried.
