BOX 477 EAGLE, IDAHO 83616 208-939-6813 Mayor: Jerry Deckard Council: Ted Arnold Orval Krasen Le Roy Pearman Andy Pollard July 27, 1979 A special meeting of the Eagle City Council was called to order at 6:00 P. M. on July 27, 1979 by Mayor Deckard at the Eagle City Hall. ARNOLD, PEARMAN, STURR were present. Moved by ARNOLD and seconded by PEA~AN that the minutes of the previous meetings of June 12, 1979 and June 26, 1979 be approved as written. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: ARNOLD, PEARMAN, STURR. Motion carried. Ordinance #42 was read for the second time. A proposal was received from LB Properties concerning the deeding of the recreational park sites in Eagle Ranch #4 to the City of Eagle. John Barnes made a presentation to the council concerning these sites. Councilman KRASEN arrived at the meeting. Moved by PEARMAN and seconded by KRASEN that the City of Eagle accept the recreational park sites in Eagle Ranch #4 if LB Properties would turn over $15,000.00 to the City of Eagle for maintenance of these lots. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: ARNOLD, KRASEN, PEARMAN, STURR. Motion carried Mr. Welsh will be asked to draw up a contract and proposal to be reviewed at the next meeting. A request to deannex was received from Mr. Wilder. Mr. Storti representing Mr. Wilder was in attendance. Moved by PEARMAN and seconded by KRASEN that this proposal be sent to our attorney for his review. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: KRASEN, PEARMAN, STURR. NAY: ARNOLD. Motion carried. A transmittal was received from the Idaho State Historical Society concerning the nomination of two pieces of property for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. Moved by KRASEN and seconded by STURR to ask the State Historic Preservation Officer or a representative of his office to attend the next council meeting. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: ARNOLD, KRASEN, PEARMAN, STURR. Motion carried. July 27, 1979 Page 2 Moved by STURR and seconded by ARNOLD to write a letter to the Idaho Historic Preservation Office and ask them to waive the deadline date of July 22, 1979 for submission of a request for a public hearing. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: ARNOLD, KRASEN, PEARMAN, STURR. Motion carried. Mayor Deckard will review the requirements of ordinances pertaining to growth management and design review and write a letter pointing out the requirements of the two ordinances so that a citizen committeee can be formed to proceed with drawing up the two ordinances. Mayor Deckard read Resolution 4-79 pertaining to the Idaho Transportation Department. Moved by KRASEN and seconded by ARNOLD to adopt Resolution 4-79. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: ARNOLD, KRASEN, PEARMAN, STURR. Motion carried. A copy of the resolution is included in the minutes. Moved by PEARMAN and seconded by KRASEN to pay the July bills. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: ARNOLD, KRASEN, PEARMAN, STURR. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the council, the meeting was adjourned. //~
