The regular meeting of the Eagle City Council was called
to order by Mayor Deckard on January 9, 1979 at 7:30 P. M.
PEARMAN was excused.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by ARNOLD to approve the minutes
of the meeting of December 12, 1978 as printed.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: ARNOLD, BROOKS, KRASEN.
Motion carried.
1979 APPOINTMENTS
Mayor Deckard made the following appointments for 1979:
ATTORNEY - Firm of Clemons, Cosho, & Humphrey
CLERK/TREASURER - Judy Mendiola
BUILDING INSPECTOR - Vern Schoen
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by BROOKS to approve the mayor's
appointments. Motion resulted as follows: AYE: ARNOLD,
BROOKS, KRASEN. Motion carried.
RESOLUTION 1-79
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by ARNOLD to adopt Resolution
No. 1-79, a fee schedule to be enacted within the city
limits of the City of Eagle, Idaho.
A copy of the resolution is included in the minutes.
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: ARNOLD,
BROOKS, KRASEN. Motion carried.
AUDIT REPORT
Ray Butler and Bill Corbet, representing~JACKSON, MESSOURI
& BATES, presented the council with an audit report for 1978.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by ARNOLD to accept the audit
report as presented with the exception of finding and rec-
ommendation No. 1.

Moved by KRASEN and seconded by ARNOLD to amend the motion
and add that "liquour funds would be changed to beer and
wine funds.
Roll call on the amendment resulted as follows: AYE: ARNOLD,
BROOKS, KRASEN. Motion carried.
Roll Call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: ARNOLD,
BROOKS, KRASEN. Motion carried.
INVESTMENT OF MONEY
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by ARNOLD to grant authority
to the city treasurer to invest idle funds at her discretion.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: ARNOLD, BROOKS KRASEN.
Motion carried.
INITIATIVE AND REFERENDUM ORDINANCE
Ordinance No. 41, AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR DIRECT LEGISLATION
THROUGH INITIATIVE AND REFERENDUM was read for the first time.
There being no further business to come before the council,
the meeting was adjourned.
