The regular meeting of the Eagle City Council was called to
order by Mayor Deckard on September 9, 1980 at 7:30 P. M.
at the Eagle City Hall.
HALEY, KRASEN, PEARMAN were present. DECKER was absent.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by PEARMAN that the minutes of
the previous meeting of August 26, 1980 be approved as
printed.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by HALEY in accordance with
Paragraph 1, Section E entitled "Commission Public Hearing"
of Article XVII, entitled "Amendment" of Eagle City Zoning
Ordinance #40 that the Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission
hold a public hearing and make a recommendation to this
council on Ordinance #60
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: HALEY,
KRASEN, PEARMAN. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE #61
Moved by HALEY and seconded by PEARMAN that the council dispense
with the rule requiring an ordinance be read on three different
days and that the ordinance be read in full according to 50-902
of the Idaho Code.
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: HALEY, KRASEN,
PEARMAN. Motion carried.
Mayor Deckard read Ordinance #61 by title only.
Moved by HALEY and seconded by PEARMAN that Ordinance #61 adopting
the Life Safety Code be passed.
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: HALEY, KRASEN,
PEARMAN. Motion carried.
ORDINANCE #62
Mayor Deckard read Ordinance
by title only.
#62 establishing an area of impact
Recommendations were received from the Planning and Zoning
Commission on proposed annexations and the Eagle City Council
will hold a public hearing on these annexations on October
28, 1980.

Mayor Deckard gave a report on the last APA meeting he
attended.
Moved by PEARMAN and seconded by HALEY that the City of

Roll call on the original motion resulted as follows: AYE:
HALEY, KRASEN, PEARMAN. Motion carried.
Moved by PEARMAN and seconded by HALEY the Eagle City Council
approve Design Review Application #5-80 for the Eagle Drug.
All materials and colors are in conformance with Design Review
Ordinance #55 and the Design Review Board recommended
acceptance of this application.
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: HALEY,
KRASEN, PEARMAN. Motion carried.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by PEARMAN that the claims against
the city be approved.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: HALEY, KRASEN, PEARMAN.
Motion carried.
Dale Sickels, architect for EM5 asked the council to accept
cedar plywood with bat on the front of the store instead
of the natural cedar siding recommended previously.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by HALEY to return this application
to the Design Review Board for their recommendation.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: HALEY, KRASEN, PEARMAN.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the council,
the meeting was adjourned.
