The regular meeting of the Eagle City Council was called
to order by Mayor Deckard at 7:30 P. M. on August 26, 1980
at 7:30 P. M.
DECKER, HALEY, KRASEN, PEARMAN were present.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by DECKER that the minutes of
the previous meeting of August 12, 1980 be approved as
printed.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, HALEY, KRASEN,
PEARMAN. Motion carried.
Councilperson HALEY gave a report on the progress on the parks
and was instructed to answer correspondence from Block Brothers
and L B Properties concerning their proposals to the City of
Eagle.
A referal was received from Ada County Zoning on a conditional
use application for Richard Peterson to operate a day care
center on the SW corner of Ballantine and Floating Feather Road.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by HALEY that we notify the
ounting~zoning commission that we recommend approval of
80-23-CU for Richard Peterson providing he complies with the
general standards as outlined in Section C, Article XI of
Eagle City Ordinance #40.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, HALEY, KRASEN,
PEARMAN. Motion carried.
Mayor Deckard announced that this was the time and the place
for a public hearing on the proposed budget for 1980-1981.
Library board members, Jean Covault, Susan McColl, Glida
Bothwell and Mrs. Yucas testified on behalf of the library
allocation.
~There being no further testimony to come before the council,
the public hearing was declared closed.
Moved by HALEY and seconded by PEARMAN that the City of Eagle
adopt the fiscal budget for fiscal year 1980-1981 and certify
an amount of $25,614.59 to the Ada County Commissioners as
being required from a property tax to be levied in the City
of Eagle.
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER,
HALEY, KRASEN, PEARMAN. Motion carried.

Moved by KRASEN and seconded by DECKER that in accordance
with Idaho Code 59-902 that the rule's requiring ordinances
be read on three (3) different days and that the ordinance
be read in full be dispensed with as pertains to Ordinance
#59.
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER,
HALEY, KRASEN, PEARMAN. Motion carried.
Mayor Deckard read Ordinance #59 THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION
BILL FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING October 1, 1980 and ending
September 30, 1981.
Moved by HALEY~and seconded by PEARMAN that Ordinance #59,
THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, ADA
COUNTY, IDAHO FOR FISCAL YEAR OF 1980-1981, be adopted.
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER,
HALEY, KRASEN, PEARMAN. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the council,
the meeting was adjourned.
