The regular meeting of the Eagle City Council was called
to order at 7:30 P. M. by Mayor Deckard on June 24, 1980
the Eagle City Hall.

KRASEN, HALEY, DECKER and PEARMAN were present.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by HALEY to approve the minutes
of the previous meeting of June 10, 1980.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, KRASEN, HALEY,
PEARMAN. Motion carried.
Ron Marshall, chairman of the Design Review Committee gave
a presentation/committee for Watson & Maxey, Architects
and presented their site plan to the city council.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by HALEY that Design Review
Request 2-80 be tabled until the council's next regularly
scheduled meeting, and that the applicants be invited
to attend the meeting.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, KRASEN, HALEY,
PEARMAN. Motion carried.
ANNEXATIONS REQUESTS
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by HALEY that the annexation
request from James L. Wroten be rejected and he be so
informed because of the stipulation on required zoning made
by him in his letter of April 30, 1979.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, KRASEN, HALEY,
PEARMAN. Motion carried.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by DECKER that the annexation
request from Fidelity Holding be tabled since it requires
a Comprehensive Plan change and a committee study of changes
to the comprehensive plan is not complete as of this date.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, KRASEN, HALEY,
PEARMAN. Motion carried.

AND, that in addition, in order to add uniformity to the city boundaries,
the following properties:

all be forwarded to the Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission for their
recommendation to this Council in compliance with 67-6525, Idaho Code,
on changes to the Comprehensive Plan, if any, and changes to the Zoning
Ordinance, for the unincorporated areas being considered for annexation;
FURTHER; that in accord with 67-6511a, Idaho Code, that the Commission
evaluate these requests for amendment to the Zoning Ordinance,
specifically the Zoning Map, to evaluate them and to determine the
extent and nature of the amendments required;
AND that in accord with 67-6511b, Idaho Code, if the Commission
determines these requests are in accord with the Eagle Comprehensive
Plan, the commission is to follow the notice and hearing procedures
outlined in 67-6509, Idaho Code and provide notice by mail to
property owners and residents within 300 feet of the properties
being considered for annexation and any additional area that may
be impacted by the proposed changes as determined by the Commission;
AND upon conclusion of hearings the Commission is to recommend to
this governing board to either adopt or reject the zoning
ordinance amendments necessary to annex these unincorporated areas.
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: PEARMAN, KRASEN,
DECKER, HALEY. Motion carried.
Ms. Millie Buckthal presented the council with a letter and
petition signed by 96 residents of Ea~ Ranch Subdivision requesting
the council's time and consideration in enforcing safer speed
control on Ranch Drive.

Moved by DECKER and seconded by HALEY that Mayor Deckard
send a letter to the Ada County Highway District, Attn:
Carl Jeppeson asking for a traffic engineering study with a
goal of making Ranch Drive and Stierman Way after.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, HALEY, KRASEN,
PEARMAN. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the council,
the meeting was adjourned.
