The regular meeting of the Eagle City Council was called
to order by Mayor Deckard on April 22, 1980 at 7:30 P. M.
at the Eagle City Hall.
DECKER, HALEY, KRASEN, PEARMAN were present.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by PEARMAN to approve the
minutes of the previous meetings of April 8, 1980 and
April 11, 1980 as printed.
Moved by HALEY and seconded by KRASEN that in accordance
with 50-902, Idaho Code that this council dispense with
the rule requiring the reading in full of Ordinance ~55.
Roll call resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, HALEY, KRASEN,
PEARMAN. Motion carried.
Mayor Deckard read Ordinance #55 by title only.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by HALEY to adopt Ordinance
#55 - Design Review Ordinance.
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER,
HALEY, KRASEN, PEARMAN. Motion carried.
Councilman KRASEN reported that Ada Planning Association
is now working on their budget and a traffic study for
Boise,
Item #7 on the agenda - sending comprehensive plan changes,
annexations and zoning map to Planning and Zoning Commission
for public hearing was removed from the agenda pending
further comments from attorney.
An on-premise consumption for a beer and wine license was
received by the council from Jack H. Waldschmidt.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by PEARMAN that approval be
given for an on-premise license for beer and wine to
Jack Waldschmidt, dba Eagle Bank Club.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, KRASEN, PEARMAN.
NAY: HALEY. Motion carried.
Discussion was held as to whether a library trustee could
fulfill her job as trustee while openly opposing the city
on other matters. Decision was reached that every person
is entitled to their own opinions on city matters.
