The regular meeting of the Eagle City Council was called
to order on April 8, 1980 at 7:30 P. M. by Mayor Deckard
at the Eagle City Hall.
HALEY, KRASEN, PEARMAN were present. DECKER was excused.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by PEARMAN that the minutes
of the previous meeting of March 25, 1980 be approved as
written.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: HALEY, KRASEN, PEARMAN.
Motion carried.
Ordinance #55 - Design Review Ordinance received its second
reading by title only.
KRASEN presented the council with a draft of the Area of
Impact Agreement and suggested a meeting with the county
commissioners be called as soon as possible.
Mayor Deckard reported on the flood plain stating the Army
Corps of Engineers were doing a reevaluation of Eagle.
The District #3 meeting will be held in Nampa on April
16, 1980 at 6:30 P. M.
Resolution #5-80 a resolution stating the City of Eagle
endorses the action of the Idaho Transportation Department in the
State Highway System in Ada County to route State Highway 55
on 1-80 to an interchange at Eagle Road and 1-80 thence
North on Highway 55 to Eagle, thence East on State Highway
44 to Highway 55 North.
The resolution was read in full by Mayor Deckard
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by HALEY to adopt Resolution
#5-80.
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: HALEY,
KRASEN, PEARMAN.
Motion carried.

A public hearing will be held on May 13, 1980 on a Conditional
Use Application submitted by the Nazarene Church to build
a church and day care center in an R-5 zone classification.
Moved.by KRASEN and seconded by PEARMAN that the claims
for March be paid.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: HALEY, KRASEN, PEARMAN.
Motion carried.
Mayor Deckard announced that a restraining order had been
received by the City of Eagle disallowing action on the
other items that had been placed on the agenda for the
evening.
There being no further business to come before the council,
the meeting was adjourned.
