The regular meeting of the Eagle City Council was called to order
at 7:30 P. M. on March 25, 1980 by Mayor Deckard at the Eagle
City Hall.
DECKER, KRASEN, PEARMAN were present. HALEY was excused.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by DECKER that the minutes of the
previous meetings of February 26, 1980 and March 18, 1980 be
approved as written.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, KRASEN, PEARMAN.
Motion carried.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by PEARMAN that due to spring
vacation and absence of Councilwoman HALEY that the consideration
of the comprehensive plan changes be tabled until the next
meeting.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, KRASEN, PEARMAN.
Motion carried.
Ordinance #55 Design Review Ordinance received its first
reading by title only.
Ordinance #54 - TV FRANCHISE ORDINANCE
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by DECKER that in accordance with
50-902, Idaho Code that this council dispense with the rule
requiring the reading in full of Ordinance 954.
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER,
KRASEN, PEARMAN. Motion carried.
Mayor Deckard read Ordinance #54 by title only.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by PEARMAN to adopt Ordinance
#54 - an ordinance granting to United Cable Television Corporation
a franchise to operate and maintain a television system in the
City of Eagle.
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER,
KRASEN, PEARMAN. Motion carried.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by DECKER that the Eagle City Council
approve the transfer of a beer and wine license from Jerry's
Market to Eagle Main & 5th.

Councilman KRASEN made a report on the Board of Adjustment

Mayor Deckard presented Floyd Calhoun with a certificate of
appreciation from the City of Eagle for his outstanding efforts
in organizing the disaster auction.
A proposal presented by LB Properties was discussed by the
council and no action was taken.
Mayor Deckard announced the following appointments to the
Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission: Jim Hill and Tom
Richards. Both will be ex-officio.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by DECKER to confirm the mayors
appointments of ex-officio members to the commission.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, KRASEN, PEARMAN.
Motion carried.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by PEARMAN to confirm the
payment of claims against the city for the month of February.
