The regular meeting of the Eagle City Council was called
to order by Mayor Deckard on February 26, 1980 at 7:30
P. M. at the Eagle City Hall.
DECKER, HALEY, KRASEN, PEARMAN were present.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by HALEY that the minutes of
February 12, 1980 be corrected as follows and then approved:
Page 1, Par. 2 - under roll call, Add: PEARMAN excused
Page 1, Par. 6 - Add: Ord. #52 was read in full by the city clerk
Page 1, Par. 6 - Change Ordinance #51 to read Ord. #52
Also line 6, change Ord. #50 to read Ord. #52
Page 1, Par. 7. - Add: Ord. #53 was read in full by the city clerk

Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, HALEY, KRASEN, PEARMAN.
Motion carried.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by PEARMAN that the minutes of the
previous meeting of February 14, 1980 be approved as written.
Motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, HALEY, KRASEN, PEARMAN.
Motion carried.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by HALEY that the Eagle City Council
adopt Resolution 1-80 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING RULES AND ORDER OF
PROCEDURE GOVERNING CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS OF THE EAGLE CITY COUNCIL.
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, HALEY,
KRASEN, PEARMAN. Motion carried.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by DECKER that the City of Eagle
rejoin Ada Planning Association.
Discussion followed including the dues would be $250.00 for two
seats as of March 1, 1980.
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER, HALEY,
KRASEN. NAY: PEARMAN. Motion carried.
Ordinance #54 - Cable TV Franchise was read for the second time
by title only.
Mayor Deckard informed the council of the following two
meetings.
Area of Impact - Thursday, March 6th, 1980 at 10:00 A. M.
Eagle Village 93 - Steven Hall of Block Brothers on Friday,
February 29th at 10:00 A. M.
Moved by KRASEN and seconded by DECKER that the City of Eagle
send a letter to the Ada County Board of Adjustment recommending
disapproval of a variance application by Richard G. Smith
to operate a commercial business in a residential zone in
Rocket Bar Subdivision.
Councilman KRASEN will attend the meeting on March 11, 1980
at 1:30 P. M.
Roll call on the motion resulted as follows: AYE: DECKER,
HALEY, KRASEN, PEAP4~AN. Motion carried.
There being no further information to come before the council,
the meeting was adjourned.
