A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO REPEALING
RESOLUTION 06-47, AND ADOPTING A NEW FEE SCHEDULE FOR THE PURPOSES
OF TITLE 7, CHAPTER 1F OF THE EAGLE CITY CODE FOR PLUMBING PERMITS;
AND, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, public notice for a public hearing for the plumbing fee schedule was
published in The Valley Times on May 13, 2013 and May 20, 2013 as required by Idaho Code;
WHEREAS, a public hearing on the plumbing fee schedule was held on May 28, 2013;
and
WHEREAS, the plumbing permit fees have not been altered since 2006; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved amending and updating the City's fee
schedule for plumbing permits by this Resolution;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EAGLE, IDAHO.
Section 1: Said plumbing fee schedule substantially in the form attached hereto as
Exhibit A and hereby incorporated herein by this reference is hereby approved.
Section 2: That the Mayor and City Council are hereby authorized to execute said
schedule for and on behalf of the City of Eagle;
Section 3: That this Resolution shall be in full force on June 1, 2013.
ADOPTED by the Eagle City Council, Eagle Idaho.

Plumbing Permit Fee Schedule
PLUMBING PERMIT FEES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
NEW HOMES
< = 1500 sq. ft. — $130.00
1501 to 2500 sq. ft. —* $195.00
2501 to 3500 sq. ft. —* $260.00
3501 to 4500 sq. ft. —* $325.00
> 4500 sq. ft. --> $325.00 plus $65.00 per additional 1000 sq. ft.
RESIDENTIAL:
Each single family dwelling, or each living unit in an apartment,
condominium, townhouse or other multiple living unit shall require
plumbing permits.
A. Base Permit Fee all permits $50.00
Additional fixtures each .$10.00
Excluding garbage disposals and dishwashers.
Replacement fixtures.... ....$10.00
per fixture
B. Sewer line installation (base fee not applicable). $50.00
Water line installation (base fee not applicable) ...$50.00
Combination (base fee not applicable) $65.00
C. Mobile Homes connections sewer and water $10.00
D. Lawn sprinkler backflow prevention device each ..$10.00
E. Water Conditioner each ...$10.00
F. Multipurpose Fire Sprinklers and Domestic Water Supply System
Inspection fee for 1-2 family $60.00
or $4 per fire sprinkler head, whichever is greater.

EXHIBIT A
COMMERCIAL:
All Plumbing permits are calculated from the verified contract price table
below.
A. Replacement of fixtures $10.00 per
fixture.
B. Sewer and water service lines installed by persons performing work
other than plumbing contractor of the building: fee based on the
contract price of the completed installation to be calculated from the
verified contract price table below.
C. Commercial coaches - Manufactured buildings: All commercial
coaches and manufactured buildings constructed in Idaho, or
constructed for use in Idaho, must purchase permits as per residential
fee schedule.
D. Lawn Sprinklers: inspection fee (to be calculated from the verified
contract price table below) based on the cost of labor and materials
needed to complete the installation from the connection to the water
system through the backflow prevention device.
E. Mobile home parks and/or RV parks: Sewer and water service lines
shall be classed as commercial. Note: This does not include the
connection of the mobile home. (Refer to Residential Section C).
F. Installations done with volunteer labor and/or donated materials will
be calculated at fair market value
VERIFIED CONTRACT PRICE TABLE:
$20,000 or less .. 3% (.03) of job value plus base fee.
$20,000 thru $100,000 2% (.02) of job value over $20,000 +
$630.00
$100,000 thru $200,000 .1% (.01) of job value over $100,000 +
$2,230.00
$200,000 or more . 1/2% (.005) of job value over $200,000 +
$3,230.00

ADDITIONAL FEES:
A. Inspections of existing plumbing $50.00 per hour
minimum for (1) hour or less.
Over 1 hour . $50.00+
$25 for each additional 1/2 hour.
B. Re-inspection $50.00
C. Other: Fees for permits not clearly giving location of installation,
either by directions or maps .$40.00
D. Plan Checking Fee: $50.00
minimum for (1) hour or less.
Each 1/2 hour portion thereof $25.00
E. Technical Service Fee $50.00+
$25.00 for each additional 1/2 hour.
F. No Permit: Failure to file for permit and pay required fee prior to
commencement of work will result in the assessment of a double fee or
imposition of civil penalties, or both.
