A RESOLUTION REPEALING RESOLUTION 13-04 IN ITS ENTIRETY, AND
ADOPTING A NEW FEE SCHEDULE PURSUANT TO SECTION 7-1B-3 OF THE
EAGLE CITY CODE, TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHIMENT BY
RESOLUTION OF FEES FOR MECHANICAL PERMITS REFERENCED IN
SECTION 106.5.2 OF THE INTERNATIONAL MECHANICAL CODE; AND
PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, public notice for a public hearing for these fees has been published
in The Valley News on April 29, 2013 and May 6, 2013 as required by Idaho Code; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing on the mechanical permit fee schedule was held on
May 14, 2013; and
WHEAREAS, mechanical permit fees have not been altered since 2003; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved amending and updating the City's fee
for mechanical permits by this resolution;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO:
Section 1: That said mechanical permit fees shall be as follows:
NEW HOMES
<= 1500 sq. ft. —> $130.00
1501 to 2500 sq. ft. —> $195.00 _
2501 to 3500 sq. ft. —* $260.00 _
3501 to 4500 sq. ft. --> $325.00
>4500 sq. ft. —* $325.00 plus $65.00 per
additional 1000 sq. ft.
EXISTING RESIDENTIAL: includes Retro Fits, Additions, etc.
BASE FEE: --> $50.00 plus $10.00 per HVAC item
SUPPLEMENTAL PERMIT: —Base Fee $10.00 plus $10.00 per HVAC item
OTHER INSPECTIONS AND FEES:
1. Inspections outside the normal business hours, per hour —, $50.00
(minimum charge—2 hours)
2. Reinsertion fee assessed per inspection —> $50.00
3. Additional plan review required by changes,additions or revisions to
plan or to plans for which an initial review has been completed, per hour —> $50.00
(minimum charge 1/2 hour)

Section 2: That the Mayor and City Council are hereby authorized to execute said
schedule for and on behalf of the City of Eagle;
Section 3: That this Resolution shall be in full force on June 1, 2013.
