1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: BASTIAN, MERRILL, SEDLACEK, GUERBER. Bastian is absent. A
quorum is present.
Present from Staff: Mike Mongelli.
City Attorney Buxton: I would like you to amend the agenda to discuss the letter to the Ada
County Commissioners in regards to the Ada/Eagle Sports Park.
Merrill moves to amend the agenda to add discussion on the letter to the Ada County
Commissioners in regards to the Ada/Eagle Sports Park. Seconded by Guerber. ALL
AYE: MOTION CARRIES .....................
City Attorney Buxton: Discusses the changes to the letter to the Ada County Commissioners in
regard to the Ada/Eagle Sports Park.
Merrill moves to authorize the City Council and Mayor to sign the letter to the Ada County
Commissioners in regards to the Ada/Eagle Sports Park. Seconded by Guerber. ALL
AYE: MOTION CARRIES .............
3. DISCUSSION ITEM:
A. Discussion regarding new city hall project.
Tom Zabala, ZGA: Brief discussion on the minutes from the April 23, 2002 meeting.
Cathy Sewell, ZGA: Displays a revised plan and discusses the same. Discussion on the size of
the lobby area and the gathering area. Discussion on the work spaces and the meet/greet stations.
Council Member Bastian arrives at 6:55 p.m.
Discussion on the outside overhang areas, parking areas and access to the parking areas.
Discussion on the size of the staff restrooms.
Tom Zabala: One of the next steps is to bring the mechanical team in to review the plan for the
mechanical components, the janitorial closet, restrooms and etc. We will also be consulting with
your Building Official.
Cathy Sewell, continued discussion on the plan. Discussion on the massy model and the outside
architecture of the building. Discussion on the landscaping and the plaza area and tower area.
General discussion on the overall plan.
4. AD,IOURNMENT:
Sedlacek moves to adjourn. Seconded by Guerber. ALL AYE: MOTION
CARRIES ................
