My goal is to clean up the corner at Beacon Light Road & Ballantyne to give it the appearance that the
City of Eagle and myself would like to see.
I have owned the property for 2 months now and Marianne has not met one deadline to remove her
items from my property. She did send me an email May 18th stating that she was taking the hazardous
Materials to the Landfill that Friday or Saturday. All those items had been removed from the out
buildings. There still are some household items in the garage that I will bring to the landfill prior to the
fire department burning the house. The only other item is a couple of partial fill drums of oil that I will
bring to the land fill. There is also some oil spilled on the ground where this drums were stored, along
with a oil stain on the dirt by the white shed where a tractor was parked(She move this tractor to a
vacant lot on north eagle road which they own so there may be an oil spill there now). In addition to
that used a log splitter in the build shed that leak some hydraulic fluid on the dirt. I understand my legal
liability of removing the balance of these items and properly disposing of the contaminated dirt. Also
there is no buried oil tank on the property. Marianne personally total me this. Also the Fire Department
has no record of a buried oil tank. I have no plans of doing any excavation of the property at this point
except for removal of demolition debris and remove of oil stains on the dirt.
I have been in communication with both Mike William and Jim Reynolds about my excited about the
property and potential of putting a winery with maybe a brew pub and restaurant on this corner.
Since your inspector put the stop order on the property it is currently is a state of disarray. I would like
at minimum to be allowed to remove the metal and wood from the sited so I can mow the entire
property. Marco the guy that knocked the shed down was suppose to just removed the metal. He is not
a demolition contractor. He also does landscaping and was originally scheduled to mow the property
and road line this Wednesday.
