Key questions for &~cussion include 1) what amendments v~ 'e made to land use designations in the emoting area of city impact; 2) what other significant p licy changes did Eagle adopt in the plan? Discussion of Propo~d Boundary Amem nent For discussion purposes, the proposed aa !itions to the impact at:ca have been divided into three areas: 1) the southeastern area in the vic ~ity of the Boise regional sewage treatment plant; 2) the area east of Highway 55; and 3) the i }rthem and western boundary extensions. Key questions for discussion include: Area 1: What discussions have taken place between Eagle and Boise concerning this proposed boundary change? Area 2: Why is a portion of the County landfill included in the area of city impact? Area 3: Wlty is it necessary at this time to include t)vtse rural lands into the area of city impact ? ~ General questions: Since these areas are not included 'in the Eagle Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map, does Eagle proposed to have the Ada County Comprehensive Plan apply ? When will urban services be available to these areas? Other changes ~o the Area of City ImpaCt Agreement Ada County would like to discuss a revamping of the agreement to include the provisions of the separate referral agreement that detail the time frames for transmitting zoning ordinance canendments, comprehensive plan amendments, and land use applications to each entity for comlnent.
