Special Meeting Minutes
July 1, 1999 6:30 p.m.
1. CALL TO ORDER:
Mayor Yzaguirre calls the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. The meeting is held in an informal round
table format.
2. ROLL CALL: MERRILL, BASTIAN, SEDLACEK, GUERBER. All present. A Quorum
is present.
3. UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
A. Discussion of the Developmental Impact Fees:
Mayor Yzaguirre introduces the item.
Susan Buxton makes opening comments regarding why the meeting has been called.
Forrest Goodrum, attorney for the Building Contractors Association, details the concerns which the
association has with the Developmental Impact Fees, as well as their proposed solutions.
Discussion between Council, BCA representatives, the Development Impact Fee Committee
membem, Bill Hofinan, Stan Weiler and both legal councils.
The Mayor thanks all who are in attendance for sharing their view points. He also requests that if
possible Mr. Hofman get with the City Attorney to review points which were brought up tonight,
and suggests that a special meeting be called for next Tuesday, July 6th tonights meeting.
Bastian moves to meet next Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. to review what was discussed tonight.
Second Guerber. ALL AYE...MOTION CARRIES.
4. AD]OURNHENT:
Bastian moves to adjourn. Seconded by Sedlacek. ALL AYE...MOTION CARRIES.
Hearing no further business, the Council meeting adjourned at 8:25 pm.
