SIGN WORKSHOP
MINUTES
May 20,1999
Note: This meeting took place at
Classic Design Studio 412 South 6th Street Boise
1. CALL TO ORDER: The workshop began at 11:20 AM.
ROLL CALL:
City Council: Merrill, Sedlacek, and Guerber. A quorum was present.
Planning and Zoning Commission: Brinton and Geneva Trent.
Design Review Board: Mike Vance.
3. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Joint workshop to discuss various types of signage designs:
John Bertram, with Plan Makers, speaks about trying to make a statement with
unique sign styles. John is one of the designers of the Eagle City entry signs.
Noel Weber, with Classic Sign Studio, gives slide presentation showing signs from
Jackson Hole, WY., Seattle, WA., and areas around Idaho. Noel is also one of the
designers of the Eagle City entry signs.
4. ADJOURNMENT: The workshop ended at 12:40 PM.
