SPECIAL MEETING
MINUTES
April 22, 1999
1. CALL TO ORDER:
2. ROLL CALL: MERRILL, BASTIAN, SEDLACEK, GUERBER. All present, a quorum is
present.
Susan Buxton: I would request that the Agenda be amended to add a discussion with regard to
the Skateboard Park.
Merrill moves to amend the agenda to discuss the Ada County Sports complex. Seconded
by Sedlacek. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIES ...............
Discussion on where the additional $14,919.00 to The Land Group is to come from.
General discussion on the Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Eagle and Ada County in
regards to the Ada County/Eagle Sports Complex.
Merrill moves that the additional $14,919.00 for the Contract Change Order, The Land
Group, come out of the Merrill Park Fund. Seconded by Sedlacek. Discussion. Bastian:

Buxton: Discussion on payment of engineer fees and legal fees. Should these fees come out of
the project money or come out of the general fund budget for said fees.
Sedlacek moves that the incidental engineering and legal fees be posted to their individual
line items and be kept separate from the project. Seconded by Merrill. ALL AYE:

General discussion on the Skateboard Park.
There is a joint meeting scheduled with the Ada County Commissioners for Tuesday, May 4,
1999, at 1:30 p.m., at Ada County.
3. EXECUTIVE SESSION:
Bastian moves to go into Executive Session to discuss personnel issues. Seconded by
Guerber. Bastian: AYE; Merrill: AYE; Sedlacek: AYE; Guerber: AYE: ALL AYE:

Discussion on matters relating to personnel.
